February 2023 Issue
Vol. 2 Issue #2
February 13, 2023
Introduction to the February Issue
I am thrilled to introduce you to poet Linda LaDuc and dreamworker Tzivia Gover. Tzivia is the author of several books (including The Mindful Way to a Good Night’s Sleep and Joy in Every Moment). I know you will enjoy this excerpt from Tzivia’s latest book Dreaming on the Page. The whole book is pure delight. Easy to read and packed with prompts and suggestions, the book changed my dream and writing life by inducing my first lucid dream and providing guidance for remembering and recording my dreams. It’s like having a calm and confident guide sitting on my bedside table, whispering in my ear, “I believe in you. You can do this.”
Enjoy both of these great pieces!
Linda
A Writer Who Shares Her Dreams
By Tzivia Gover
My dreams took up the job of writing coach early on. At twenty-one I wrote in the artists’ sketchbook that served as my journal: “My dreams give me advice on writing. They say, get the idea out first—then leave it for a day and come back.”
That’s good advice for any aspiring writer.
In that same journal, sandwiched between outpourings about friendships and descriptions of conversations about art that took place over games of pool, I wrote, “I feel like my life is a novel and I am an English teacher reading too much symbolism into it.”
Mycelium Flowering

What compels me to sit and write…
There are facts, studies, but what is the “push”?
Inspiration. Breath in.
Expiration. Breath out.
